How we got started:

Who this group is for:

What we offer:

MMHP began as a conversation between two therapists discussing the needs within North Alabama. The theme of BIPOC mental health, and access to Mental Health Professionals of color led to the creation of MMHP. Our mission is to create spaces and opportunities for Mental Health Professionals of color to learn, grow, and support each other.

MMHP is a community for Mental Health Professionals of color in North Alabama. Our goal is to connect fellow practitioners for networking, fellowship, and collaboration. Please note, we do not connect clients with mental health professionals directly. However, if you are seeking assistance with referrals, you can submit the referral to be included in our newsletter.

Below, you will find the newsletter submission section where you can submit referrals, employment opportunities, announcements, LPCS supervision opportunities, and questions/guidance related to the field.

We host monthly events, volunteer opportunities, CE seminars, and groups focused on building community.
